Business Spotlight: Pickering Coffeehouse in Phoenixville
In this story
If you're searching for a cozy, welcoming coffee shop in Phoenixville, look no further than Pickering Coffeehouse. This locally owned gem offers more than just expertly brewed coffee—it’s a space designed for relaxation, community, and conversation.
☕ A Cozy Corner for Coffee Lovers
Opened in February 2024, Pickering Coffeehouse was founded by a mother-daughter duo, Megan and Maddie, who wanted to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for the community. With a background in entrepreneurship and business management, they transformed a beloved local space into a vibrant hub for coffee enthusiasts and casual diners alike.
🌎 Ethically Sourced, Expertly Roasted
What sets Pickering Coffeehouse apart is its dedication to high-quality, ethically sourced coffee. Their espresso beans come from San Lazaro Farm in Honduras, a women-run coffee farm that pays above fair-trade wages and supports a children’s refuge. The beans are locally roasted by Jason Pearl, who has built a strong relationship with the farmers, ensuring every cup of coffee supports sustainable and ethical practices.
🍽 A Menu Beyond Coffee
While their specialty coffee is a must-try, Pickering Coffeehouse also offers a delicious selection of food and snacks. Whether you're stopping in for a quick breakfast, grabbing a light lunch, or looking for a sweet treat, there's something for everyone.
